The International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) is aninternational plant health agreement, established in 1952, that aims to protectcultivated and wild plants by preventing the introduction and spread of pests. The Convention has 177 signatories.
The Convention provides a framework and forum for international cooperation,harmonization and technical exchange between contracting parties.
